Youth Speaks

  • Create daily social media content for Youth Speaks and Brave New Voices Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
    • Post Samples: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.
    • Special Project Sample #1:  I curated a series called “Boutifts” for Brave New Voices featuring Janay, poet from Tennessee. Part one on Instagram, part two on Twitter, and part three on Facebook.
    • Special Project Sample #2: Using an iphone and iMovie, I directed and edited a video to promote a local poetry program on IGTV.
  • Write press releases for local and national Youth Speaks programming.
  • Curate content in various mediums (i.e. copy, graphics, video) for Youth Speaks programming across applicable platform(s) (i.e. social media, ads manager, etc) to produce reach/impressions.

  • Increased San Jose Museum of Art social media following on Instagram, Facebook, Google+Tumblr, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube by a total 61% in five months.
